10 May Award Spotlight: Volkswagen Dealer of the Year
We have worked with Volkswagen for many years to help reward outstanding staff with well designed, quality awards. However, nothing gets us more excited than a new Dealer of the Year trophy and this year marked the end of the old perpetual which called for the design of the new one!
The Dealer of the Year trophy is always the piece-de-resistance of awards evenings and as they are designed to travel around the country each year with the new winner, these statuettes are coveted for about 10 years. So… with the excitement of designing and making a new trophy comes a lot of responsibility. Volkswagen wanted something impressive for the winner to proudly display in their dealership. This bespoke design came in standing at around 740mm high, weighing a seriously hefty 19kg and with a dose of black chrome and 22 carat gold thrown in, we’ll leave it to you to decide if we succeeded in creating something impressive!
