09 Mar The conception and making of the Hino awards
Having used a local trophy shop to supply standard ready made awards for many years, Hino approached us to work with them to produce something special for their Dinner Awards Program and their 50th Anniversary.
Following initial meetings with members of the board, Hino asked Design Awards to come up with some design concepts for plaques and trophies which would convey the brands values and quality synonomous with Hino.
Design awards produced a series of prototypes based on the client brief so that they could see how awards would look in different materials including, acrylic, metal and crystal.

After a series of consultations designs were created and finalised for Sales and Years of Service plaques as well as 50th anniversary commemerative awards. A variety of materials were used to create different awards including, metal, acrylic and aluminium. The final product reflects the quality and endurance of the Hino brand and both the client, and all of us here at Design Awards were very happy with the result.
